Allana played for Australia in Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana to miss many years prior to making the transition back to league. Allana had her first ever union rugby game for women that was played by New South Wales in 2013 and stood out in that match against Queensland. Allana can also be found as a frequent radio personality, appearing regularly as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has also earned a teaching degree. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of representing Australia in three sports, rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos footballer and rugby league player for the Jillaroos of Australia team has suffered a premature end to her professional career in the sport after torn her ACL on a fourth occasion. Ferguson tore the ACL 4 times in the past, at ages 15, 17, and 20. When she was injured the fourth time, suffered the injury, her playing career was over.
