Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actor best well-known for her performance as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran between 2015 and present. Her earlier role as Lebanese American young woman Jasira who is undergoing an array of struggles in the context of the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. The following year, she was named among Variety's 10 Actors to Watch. The 2009 film Crossing Over, in which she portrayed a strong female lead character, Taslima Jhangir has been nominated by Independent Spirit Award as the best actress. In addition to Lucky 7, she has been in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and in numerous television guest role.
